The Bent Festival is going on this weekend and I most likely will be going and checking it out. here are some of the details.....
"BENT FESTIVAL NYC STARTS THIS WEEK. EXCITED YET?!! Also, a big thanks to Reed Ghazala for sending us signed copies of his fantastic book "Circuit Bending" to sell at the festivals. Be sure to grab a copy!
The Bent Festival is an annual art and music festival celebrating DIY electronics, hardware hacking, and circuit bending. Each year we invite artists from across the country and around the globe to perform music with their home-made or circuit bent instruments, teach workshops to adults and children alike, create beautiful art installations and to generally come together, face to face, and showcase the state of the art in DIY electronics and circuit bending culture.
If you have the least bit of curiosity about electronics or electronic music, or if you've ever just wanted to rip your toys apart, this festival is for you. Each day we will have open studios with expert circuit benders and hardware hackers on hand to help you get started. There will be installation artists building circuit-bent artwork throughout the space. There will be a full schedule of in-depth workshops. There will be nightly concerts featuring some of the best circuit benders and DIY electronics performers in the world. It is pure unadulterated fun for the whole family. You will have a blast.

BENT FEST 2008: NYC April 24th - 26th
It's been too long......
Well its been awhile but work had really been kicking my ass so I had no time during the day to post anything. So much has went on in the last month or so. I am going to try and get back to daily posts here as I am now back to my normal schedule. Anyway I have been saturating myself with John Lennon and Beatles rarities lately. Here is a really amazing site with tons of free downloads. If you are a beatles fan make sure you check it out.....

FREE Nine Inch Nails: GHOSTS I-IV !!!

FREE NIN!!! This is the exact kind of announcement we were all hoping for! I totally forgot that Trent said to look out for something in two weeks. What an awesome suprise on monday morning. Ordering my 5 dollar version right now. Here are the details:
Nine Inch Nails presents Ghosts I - IV, a brand new 36 track instrumental collection available right now. Almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I - IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.
Trent Reznor explains, "I've been considering and wanting to make this kind of record for years, but by its very nature it wouldn't have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective - dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I'm very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. I hope you enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts."

Radiohead to headline two nights at [All Points West]

It looks like Radiohead will be playing two nights at the eastern version of All Points West. Read it for yourself at URB Magazine. I would be really pissed if I was on the west coast and got Jack Johnson instead of Radiohead. I have went three years in a row but couldn't do it this year. Hopefully All Points West also picks up the reunited Stone Temple Pilots for a night or two.
