Ah these end of the year lists always crack me up. It also makes me laugh hard when people argue over them on messages boards and try to prove that their list is better then someone else's. It is all a matter of your perception, your opinion and your tastes. Why do we need to argue?? You also got to keep in mind that a lot of the magazine and papers probably get $$$$$ to rig their list a certain way. Anyway here are two top fives. One from Rolling Stone and the other from well I guess you could it newspaper but really The NY Post is biased and usually very opinionated. My sarcastic comments will be on the side for good measure....
NYPOST:
5. Guns & Roses - Chinese Democracy (Really?? there are about 2 -3 good tracks on the record. It and is not BAD ASS enough!)
4. Black Kids - Partie Traumatic (Really can't see why anyone would listen to it)
3. Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III (Hmm maybe the posts likes Autotune. I myself find this more comedy then music. Ratastic)
2. The Killers - Day & Age (I hate these douchers, please let them go away. So over rated and so unoriginal. LAME!!)
1. Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Umm haven't been good since the 2nd album. Chris martin needs to stop being so cool)
NY Post Top Ten Albums of 2008
Rolling Stones:
1. TV On The Radio - Dear Science (Tried to get into it but thought it was sonically annoying. Not going to hate though)
2. Bob Dylan - Tell Tale Signs (It's Bob Can't say anything bad but I think there were far more worthy choices for #2)
3. Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III (Ok again come on. This guy looks like a crazy drug infested crack Rat. It hurts my ears)
4. My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges (I don't know this was a major let down for me and most of my friends....)
5. John Mellencamp - Life Death Love & Freedom (J cougar?? I didn't even hear about this. I guess I am out of the loop)

I think someone is seriously getting cash for these selections. I will be posting my top ten soon. I promise it will be better, in my opinion of course.....
